HARD WORKING BOSS

​If you wanna write a song, don’t strain too hard

Cause if you push it out, you might hurt your art

If you wanna write song it may take a while

But don’t sit there too long or you’ll end up with piles of

 

Unfinished songs, unfinished songs, unfinished songs like this one

 

If you wanna catch a song, don’t reach out and grab it

Let it come to you like a cat or a rabbit

If you wanna catch a song don’t be surprised

If you sit there for hours and at the end of the line you have an

And sometimes like an allegory of life, nothing really comes out

Oh ouch

All you’ve got to show for your time is a pile of self doubt .

But don’t worry, I’ve got an idea

To save your beautiful rear  

We can eat some fibre, watch a film like Easy Rider

Read the Diceman or whatever gets you dumping out the hits again

 

If you tried to write a song but didn’t make it

No, nothing fell out, don’t be deflated

Cause time writing songs is never wasted

As a matter of the fact, the songs that are my favourites are the
